This hashish recipe, historically known as Issaguen and more commonly called Ketama, comes from the foothills of the Rif Mountains in Morocco, from a small town where the sound of sieves can be regularly heard. Herba di Berna’s legal CBD Ketama hash is very close to the original, with a slightly fruity and sweet note typical of Ketama. The production of hashish in Morocco involves sieving dried plant material at a specific mesh size, to separate the resin-rich trichomes and cannabinoids from other parts of the plant, which are then pressed into plates. Note that Ketama hashish is not organically grown.
The Ketama hash consists of trichomes from legal cannabis flowers with high CBD/CBG/CBN content and raw hemp extracts (crude oils). Texturising agents could be added to the resin to improve its look and feel.
